Why should I train under the guidance of a coach?

Coaches offer not only expertise in the field, but many have backgrounds that include experience in training and racing themselves, education in fields that enhance their running and triathlon knowledge, and the resources to answer your questions regarding topics like nutrition, injury-prevention, race-strategy, and a host of others.  A great coach knows that every runner is "an experiment of one", and as such, guides his/her clients in the direction that is best for their goals and ambitions.

Can I order a plan without meeting with the coach?



Yes!  Just e-mail me the distance race you plan to train for, or an idea of what you're looking for in walking/running exercise program, and I'll contact you with instructions on how to proceed.  Typically, the questionnaire will be e-mailed to you first, and from there we can better plan the best course of action to take for you on an individual basis.

I've stagnated doing the same old routine and I only need a plan that will take me up to my race---7 weeks away...Can you help?

Doesn't running hurt your joints?

When proper techniques are employed such as injury-preventive exercises, drills, and running-specific strength exercises coupled with thoughtful planning and execution, the benefits derived from running far outweigh the risks.  I offer the guidance and support to keep you on the road!

Once I purchase a plan, will I be able to contact you when I need to?

Certainly.  E-mail and phone correspondence are a part of every plan, on a weekly basis.  Of course, if there are reasons you need to contact me beyond the agreement, I'm always willing to help a fellow runner!

 

Furthermore, contact with clients is essential to gauge your progress and fitness gains during the course of the plan.  When you gain fitness, I'll adjust your plan to reflect your new training paces.
