After an initial questionnaire to determine basic needs, goals, and experience, I'll tailor a physical assessment just for you!  

 

For beginners with little or no training and race experience, a few simple, low-impact field tests will give us the right starting point.  


​If you've already been training/racing and want to get faster, more in-depth and pertinent assessments will be employed to get you on the way to your goals.  

 

Sample run testing procedures include field testing for velocity at VO2max (vVO2max), lactate threshold field testing, various tests to measure muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility.  

For cycling, Lactate Threshold field tests and time-trials will be utilized to periodically assess fitness gains.  

For swimming, time trials will also be the standard mode of assessment.

 

Put together, these assessments will determine your training paces and ancillary strength/flexibility/form drills to help improve running technique and run-specific strength.
